Hello Everyone... the Christmas and Holiday season will be upon us soon. HO HO HO... As we know we have our annual Christmas Group Project. Yahoo.
I was pleased to pull out a song book that I bought last year to do a project with Wookieman. I found some of the songs daunting last year.
While I can't make them lovely on the first go 'round, I was sooooo soooo excited to play some of them yesterday casually. What a good time!!!
Holly Jolly Christmas
White Christmas
Frosty
Jingle Bells.. (always could play this.. Essentials book very early in the book)
Silver Bells
Up on the Roof top / Housetop
Rockin around the Christmas Tree
And then.....
my other holiday Favorites. I can't wait to see what I can do with my favorite.
Oh Holy Night.
And then my other songs that I love to play ... O Little Town of Bethlehem, Oh Christmas Tree.
I am kind of a Holiday Elf ...so this year I am the Violin Elf. I hope we get to share and play a lot of holiday music this year.
Cheers, Toni
Vibrato Desperato.... Desperately seeking vibrato

I found out last week that the jam I go to is having a Christmas party!! We will be playing Christmas music. I have dusted off my Christmas music and working on it to try and memorize it.
I am close with I Saw Three Ships, Once in Royal David's City, Go Tell It On The Mountain, He Is Born, and Come All Ye Shepherds because these are the ones I played with my sister-in-law at our family party last year. I am thinking of learning drones for I Saw Three Ships to make it a bit bluegrassy.
By the way - we have not been invited back!!!
I love Jesu Joy Of Man's Desiring and Gesu Bambino but I know I will not be able to learn these for the party.
