My copy of Hunter's Chorus from book 2 begins with an upbow for the quaver (D). Lines 1, 2, 3 & 5 all end with an upbow for the last note on each line. The first note in Bar 23 (G) is a downbow. The eight notes (G,B) at the end of Bar 33 are an upbow and then a downbow. Bar 35, last 2 eighth notes (G, G) are both upbows (up, up).
I understand what you mean about videos. The absolute best video I ever watched was someone speaking the bowing for Inisheer (uuuup, doooownnn, up, up up, doooownn) as she played the piece. Videos for the Suzuki pieces would be better, in my opinion, if the person playing them filmed from the side to show the bowing on the first run through, then from the back side showing the fingering on the neck. Seriously, if you're trying to teach me, show me what I'm supposed to be doing instead of just playing the music in front of the camera. How hard is that? Sheesh...
Anyway, hope that helps.
