Hi all;

I am Grunyon, and I have had the pleasure of performing music fir many years. A quick C.V. if you will indulge me. High School marching band, high school Honours band, high school jazz band. First Chair All State Band in high school. Studied music at West Texas State University, whilst in marching band, and symphony. Studied with Ken Dye, at Rice University, guest musician in the MOB, Marching Owl Band. Selected for first part in the Space Centre Houston Band, and Trumpets over Texas. This is all well and good, except I play the Tuba; and Baritone; and some Trombone. I have never played a stringed instrument ever. My teenage son has developed an interest in the violin; and so having perused the web; this seemed to be the right place. Now being a horse in a human skin with three left hands, is it possible that even I could learn to play, whilst helping my son? Thanks for reading.

Music is in the soul, not the instrument; but the instrument helps a lot.
