It's a small thing

Sometimes its the simple things that can help the most. This happened to me recently. I started writing down on a small piece of paper work that I wanted to get done around the house. Then I cut 4 slits in each side (4 sides) making 5 tabs (20 total). I then practice what I want (right now that's an etude I'm working on) and when done I fold down one of the tabs. When all five are folded on a side. I get up and do one of the chores. Come back, do another 5 reps and then get another chore done. My wife thinks its a really, really, really great idea. Do you have any tricks that help you?
