I've got the Schirmer Kreutzer 42 etudes and also a bilingual polish/english pdf of them which I like a little bit better than the Schirmer, so I was going to suggest it here as an alternative to Pierre's version.

But I notice my pdf came from theviolinsite.com, which seems to be defunct at the moment. The best-laid plans of mice and men! Not sure if I can upload it.

Interesting to see an archived discussion on v.com in which Elizabeth Matesky says avoid Galamian's editions like the plague, as he didn't understand bowing!
