Most traditional fiddling was learned from watching others play.
It still makes me pause to think 'right-handed fiddlers' play with a fiddle in their LEFT hand & 'left-handed fiddlers' play with a fiddle in their RIGHT hand! I admit it would drive me crazy trying to learn from watching someone playing with the violin in their right hand vs me playing with my violin in my left. I'm sure it's the same the other way around!
...but then again, how many folks try playing while watching themselves for mistakes - using a mirror?
I have learned so much from watching video tutorials & workshop videos - maybe like others watch their teachers. So, I wondered how hard would it be to flip a YouTube video to a 'mirror' image - so left-handed fiddlers (with a left-hand violin) could accurately watch fingering & bowing in a tutorial?
Turns out, it's NOT HARD at all!
This video shows 3 different ways to easily flip a YouTube video to a 'mirror' orientation!
