I remember seeing some mention in a thread that I posted to a while back, to left hand ordmentation that did not require vibrato
Myself, I have been using 'slurs' in my recent learning and am just beginning to look at 'slides'. So far they are seeming to be a lot easier and less stressful at this time in my learning than struggling with vibrato.
Will do vibrato when it happens. There are other ways to sound better 
Does anyone know of any other 'left hand' techniques that out there?
BTW....... If you are a 'lefty' just swap left for right hand ordmentation
