Dear Sir,

I had asked you on your youtube channel if you could teach me Lux Aterena. The Clint Mansell version.

I cant read western music :( But I have learned Indian classical music on the violin. Your videos are a great help for me. Hope I learn some good western songs in a year or two. :) :)

Thanks a lot

cheers,

Anu

I can certainly write this if several members are interested. I like to benefit as many as possible. I'll need to make an arrangement since the best with a piece like this is to at least have a loop machine to play around with.
I'm busy for a couple of weeks but should be able to fit it in after that. smile

thumbs-up That would be very nice! This piece was the first thing i ever played on the violin. I still play it sometimes. And would be great to have this tune with some back ups to play with =) droolingdancingcheerleadercoffeeamuseparty

Hey Naska,
Maybe that means that you have the sheet music for it. Do you?

If you get it to me I can make an arrangement. Just violin. Also if I listen to it enough I'll be able to make it more interesting for one violin. I'll probably not have time for another couple of weeks though.

That's a breathe taking piece! and I love it, but I'm not sure if this will sound good if you play it solo.

We could always give it a shot right?
That is why I am thinking arrangement. I'd have to put some moving notes in there.

I play it by ear duncecap it's quite slow and i had no problems...surprised

When i look at sheet music of it - i start to think that it's much harder though...

Don't know if you guys across the pond, or even further afield, have heard of Escala, an electric string quartet of English women.
Well worth a listen ( and look) if you like this style
