I know this may be quite an elementary question and I think I know the obvious answer, but wanted to reach out to you just to make sure. Thomas is practicing Mythos for a chamber session coming up next month and in the middle of this piece, he is doing a lengthy pizz. section that is measured at 140 on the metronome. Although he is able to use this setting effectively, I decided to try something, and set it at 280 for him to practice, which seemed to be much easier for him to follow. My question is, is 280 an accurate doubling of 140? Told you it was a foolish question, but I want to make sure there is no quirky, irregularity to this.
