You can have as much time as you want. If you have a phone jack on your keyboard you can plug it into your computer. Audacity is a good free program for recording the audio file.Smile

You can find the Harry Potter sheet music for sale at http://www.musicnotes.com. Looks like the first page of each song is viewable but you have to buy the collections. Is this the whole of Hedwig's Theme?

Finally I'm here in Manila, home sweet home. Semestral break gives me a break! LOL! I recorded this last week, and I'm sorry for late upload because every day I go to the hospital w/ my Mom and Dad.

I can't really focus on my playing when my sister is starring at me while she's videoing me, haha. Do I improved (o_O?

btw I'm out of tune, and I'm still working on my intonation.

I'm not familiar with the tune, but I think in the second video you are more in tune. You have very straight and smooth bowings. I love your vibrato. Your arms and fingers all look very relax to me. You are doing great! Do you have a teacher or are you learning on your own? Keep up the good work!

BTW, I love the rooster's croak in the background in your first video clip. Last year I as back in Malaysia, like my mother said, roosters do not just croak when the sunlight breaks in the morning, they croak every hour! Boy, between jetlag and the roosters in the neighbourhood (all rooster croak and you could hear them from miles away), i was sleep deprived for four weeks! But the rooster's croak in your video remind me of home, yes, home sweet home.

You talked about going to the hospital everyday, I have a vague memory but could remember who was illed, was it your sister? How is she doing now?

Hey Rotex you were the first one that posted on this forum when I joined this summer. Glad to see you back. I have to be brutally honest though...Listen to the music you are trying to play cause you are so off key that I get a headache on your first few bow strokes. I really think you need to listen to the music instead of trying to play songs off of paper. I see you improved from playing from your elbow instead of your shoulder but? How long have you been playing the violin?

@pky The song is called "Sad Romance,"  haha there are many roosters here in Phils LOL, My Mom has a Stage IIB vaginal cancer, she need to finish  3 Therapies Chemo, Radiation, and the Brachy. She graduated her Chemo last Saturday, YEY! She's doing great and her Doctor said that she'll be fine after she finished her all therapies, but the sad part is, our money is out because of the of the chemo and radiation they're both payed except brachy, brachytherapy is really expensive. And I don't think that the cancer foundations here in Phils would help us. We are not rich and I cannot buy the fact that money will be the reason for my mom not to have a longer life. Your prayers is much appreciated.

@myguitarnow I Started playing violin since I joined here last May, Pierre and all the members here specially  Daniel helped me on my progress. My violin is cheap(VSO) and it's really squeeky and muddy, I'm planning to change from Violin to Viola, maybe after a year because they said that the sound of viola is richer and deeper.

Hope your mom pulls through Rotex. My mom passed from a long battle with the same type of cancer at a young age. Cervical cancer. My best friends wife is struggling with breast cancer right now (stage 4) and I'm just not happy cause this stuff is so devastating. I will send out prayers for you tonight.

Just caught your message, don't switch to viola till you get the violin down better! You can make it sound thick n rich too!

You made some tremendous progress.

I'm really happy to see this video. Your vibrato is nice. I like the slow even vibrato. Speed will come eventually. The width is great for now. Keep working on the things you know are off and practice scales keeping extreme focus on intonation and you will do great. Welcome back home :-)

Are you going to help us on the Christmas project?

Hi, Rotex! Hope your mom will recover soon! And i guess in Philippines doctors are better then in Russia. It's really good that your mom is taken care and curing right now. It' s really important to have medical attention in time. In our country cancer is a doom almost for every one. My friend deceased last month because of bone sarcoma. Diagnostic was too late =( . They cut off her leg and sent home to die because she already had metastasis in lungs.

But i think if your mom is under medical control - it's going to be OK!! I'll pray for her! cow-fingerscrossed

By the way! Sad romance!!! I like that tune. Didn't recognise it first. In the beginning you play some other notes.. I like your right arm. Your bow now is quite straight! Great improvement!!

Glad, you're back!

Good job man, funny because I just did a recording of this song too. Don't worry I won't upload it. blink You're vibrato is coming along very nicely! Well done. A few of the starting notes sounded a lil off to me though.

Thank you for prayers guys! :) My mom had her checkup this morning and it's a great news! the size of her tumor decrease from 7 to 4(mm? i dunnow lol). Thanks again! :))

@Mad_Wed, Yes their are great, but the problem is, Philippine economy is continuously decreasing since they had changed our government from parliament to republic, in short we're run out of money after the Chemo and Radiation, Brachy is too expensive but we applied to PCSO(charity) and hoping for their approval. Thank you for praying.

@pierre, it's my pleasure to join! crossedfingers

@Chinny, Post it! haha, btw, my starting notes is not just "lil off" because it's "very off" lol!
