I basically wrote it first for my string quartet and recently transposed it for myself to play all the parts. If I were to put a marking in I would probably write, "as fast as possible". I was practicing it at 180 but decided to slow it down for this recording so as not to have to work too hard on it. The tempo on my recording is 162. The required tempo is fast and lively, over 140 bpm

What tempo you should begin at depends on your skills. This is a good exercise for chromatics.

We did but it's gone now since we dissolved when I moved back here to Florida from Sweden.

We have a CD that I could probably upload for download but I may get some slack from the other members. I'll have to check with them.

No Flight of the Bumblebee on that CD though.

For those of you a little more adventurous I was asked to upload

Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's "Flight of the BumbleBee"

I wrote this for string quartet a few years ago but transposed it for 4 violins the other day to do the new Cecilio Electric Violin demo. ENJOY!!!!

Daniel, thanks for requesting this one, it's a challenge I'm up for.  I'll bet my goose is sicker than yours.

I'm just working on a few bars at a time, hoping to get the timing and intonation correct bit by bit.

Thanks again Pierre for posting all the music and videos, I'm learning so fast now.

Here comes Daniels long awaited Ave Maria by Schubert:

Hope you all like it. It is maybe not quite beginners music but with some hard work you never know. I added something new, see if you notice what it is.surprised

Love the Ave Maria arrangement. Just what I needed to practice phrasing and vibrato. Thanks so much!

Hi, fiddlerman, good morning :P

I clicked on the link as well as from the bar above next to "home" that says "sheet music" and it said, "not found." Only the swan lake, though, others are okay.

Oh yeah ... I enjoy.

Can you please put up a video for this one, I get lost going from triplets straight into sixteenths.

Even that much coffee doesn't help.
