I am excited and ready to get back to this.  I had backed off from 3rd position.. But I am ready to start back with my goal

I love this tutorial .. It has helped me a lot.  Is anyone else trying this one?

Ahhh Swan Lake, lovely. Just recently played some movements from Swan Lake with orchestra, it was soooo cool! :)

I hope you enjoy it, Toni, and good on you for getting into different positions. :)

@TerryT awesome!

Good to know.  Did you use Pierre's arrangement?  And did you use 1, 2nd, & 3rd positions?

Butters helped me with the music back when I was first learning it as I was not good with being able to read the sheet with the shifts.

I might have to hit you up for tips.   :)

Thanks Toni

@Kiara  thank you so much for you comment. I hope I can start playing as well as you in the future.   :)

Hi, Toni! You're gonna enjoy it!

I played it too, don't remember when though - can't find it here, but it's somewhere on the forum... I like that piece. Just recently thought about relearning it =)

Good luck and have fun!dancing

Thank you Naska.  Welcome home from your trip.  You look amazing!

I will look around for your Swan Lake post.  You have always inspired me. After Swan Lake.. maybe the Dark Waltz. :)

Happy Day to you!

Hi @coolpinkone

I might give this one a try. I'm also trying to work on moving out of first position surprisedand this will be a great piece to work on 2nd and 3rd positions. Also a great piece to work on dynamics and vibrato. So many tunes ... so little time. Thanks for posting.semiquaver-1214

@VickieD  you pointed out the exact reasons that I started this song a while back.  But I did get distracted learning Thaxted.

So I'd love to hear how it is coming along for you when you get around to it.

I know I sort of flaked on 3rd position when I was learning the first time.. so I am eager to restart my transition into third ...one more time.
