Seans video showed up in my youtube and thought to share it.  If your starting out and want some great pointers about general how a session works, he is about as good as anybody ive seen for that.  he is a whistle/flute player so you wont get fiddle specific info, but what he post is just as valuable.

 

not on topic with the OP but this one is so true.

indeed!   i logged in to share that and see you have already.  episode 2 had a good interview with Martin Hayes but framed mostly with his thoughts on sessions.  I havent heard him talk exclusively about one topic for a whole interview but this one was.
