I just want to share a couple cool smartphone apps. If any of you are like me, my cell phone is always by my side so why not use some apps to help with violin playing?
Both of these apps are 4 bucks a piece but work well.
Cleartune (a tuner that is very accurate and does so much)
and Clockwork (a metronome and click track writer that does so much)
From my experience in the studio these are the most accurate phone apps that the peeps are using in the professional recording field. Just check the apps out and see if they may work for you

Love, love, love Cleartune. How do I bump this thread up?
Do you have a recommendation on the Equal Temperament vs Violin Family settings? Any tips or tricks with using the tuner?
Many thanks!

Anybody you know what tuning system Cleartune uses in its Violin Family setting? Curious.
