Ok, I changed my strings last week, And I thought they were getting broken in - but my D string doesn't sound right just below the bridge where you're supposed to bow. The rest are fine, and if I play closer to the bridge it sounds fine. Do I just need to change it out? Not sure how to describe it, its sort of in tune, but sounds flat and my bow skitters over that section on that string only. I tried more and less rosin, and it's only the D string. For reference they're fiddlerman synthetic (which I love) but although they were still in the sealed package, they're probably about 4 years old. I'm just getting back into it! But this string thing is weird. Everything was fine before that. Could i have nudged my bridge when i changed my strings?!
