Man shes something! Im a big fan.

Once I sent a email to Jean Luc ponti, told I had been a fan ever since the old Frank Zappa days.

Ask him if any of his music was in print.  Thought I would never hear from him.

Well about two months later I got a reply.

He said he was real sorry it took him so long to get back to me. Thanked me for being such a long time fan. and said he would have his assistant send me a link were I could find one of his only transcriptions in print.

He told me that most of his stuff was impove and dosent  write much of it down.  Well his assistant semt me the link and I bought the book.

Thought that was so cool. I almost invited him over for coffie, but didnt want to seem pushy.

No matter where you go, there you are!

This post reminds me of when I lived in Seacliff NY.  On summer days the woman across the street from us would be practicing her violin outside and the music was just beautiful.  One day almost the whole orchestra was there playing together.  It wasn't until later that I found out she was in the NY Philharmonic and it was just about the whole orchestra there.

I wish I could meet a violinist who could teach me how to play better. I need all the help I can get. I usually play by ear because I've only had two clsses for violin. I taught myself to play "Fiddler On The Roof", "Beautiful Dreamer", and most of the christmas songs I know today.serenade violin_girl devil-violin violin pink-violin-girl santa3 heart

Get yourself a webcam and you'll get free interactive lessons when you post here. It's a small investment for what you can get. I can be super critical or just give a few constructive criticisms depending on what the "poster" wants.
