Currently working on getting badges to show up horizontally. Should hopefully figure that out within a week. Thanks for your patience.

Lmao! When isn't it warmer here Terry?! But you've got some spectacular country/sea side.
While searching, I found several in British Columbia, just too far for me. And I JUST joined the San Diego Bluegrass Society and on their schedule found a fiddle camp event coming up next week in Julian (that's right Julian, the apple pie capital of the world, lol), so I'm gonna try to make at least part of the three days.
I guess these things are around, you've just got to hunt them out!

True, but it gets tiresome not being able to see the countryside coz your squinting to keep the rain out of your eyes.
Much more of this and I'm applying for a green card!
I am amazed at how old people of my age are.....

It's going to be crazy fun this year. People from around the world come here and jam for days...
It's not really about fiddlers but people of all instruments that love to play the blues.
I'll find that thread Dennis and post more info.

Thanks Tony, I'll check out TX; I'm looking for an excuse to visit friends there this summer. And, Scott, I've lived in the DP area for 30yrs and never knew of the Doheney event; I'm gonna try to make that; albeit more of a blues event and not fiddle, there's a pretty entertaining lineup.... would love to see Tad Benoit play.
There seem to be several events in the San Francisco area, but SoCal seems to be a wasteland when it comes to fiddle events, aside from the Julian Workshop. When I find details of any of these, I'll post to the "Local Events" thread.
