Currently working on getting badges to show up horizontally. Should hopefully figure that out within a week. Thanks for your patience.

I don't have a story to share or any advice, but I just wanted to thank @Daniel_Shaped_Object for introducing me to "Hector the Hero" - perhaps this could be a project at some stage?
This forum seems to be filled with warm, kindhearted, inspirational people. I haven't been here long, but this has been my impression since I stumbled across the site a few months ago, and it has been my reason for continuing on many days when I didn't feel like trying because other stresses were interfering or because I felt like I wasn't getting anywhere.
Music has such a powerful affect on our mood (and, as I am beginning to see now, our mood has such a powerful affect on our music when we make it).
Sending warm wishes to everyone here

@Rob C What kind of music do you play? The bluegrass jam I attend is at a music store. We play Gospel, Old Time, Bluegrass and on occasion Blues. Maybe you could start one at that local violin shop. It brings in customers!!

Hi Schaick, I just started playing the end of December. If I played for any business right now they would lose customers!
I'm about 75% finished and competent in the suzuki 1 book and the essential ellements 1 book. The only fiddle style i've tried was cabbage patch down. I hope one day I can get in on some of that, in the mean time I will check out some of these shows you linked.
Thak you!

@RedViolin
I agree the forum is filled with compassionate and kind musicians. If it were not for the site and the projects here I don't know where I would be with violin.
Part of me thinks that I was called to play and I felt it from my bones that I must play... so I'd like to think that I'd still be playing.
Anyway.. keep playing and posting dear violin forum friends.
Vibrato Desperato.... Desperately seeking vibrato
