Thanks for the update. Would love to hear more about the trip itself. How is the biking coming along? How is your dog, Fiji doing with the trip? How many hours a day have you been biking? Weather on your trip so far? What's your next destination and path? Maybe you can meet up with one of our members here on the way.I moved your posts here to make it easier for everyone to keep up with your entire trip. Thanks for the update.
Our first day on the road, we could only do 10 miles. I thought, gosh am I going to be able to bike with this heavy load? That day, we were rescued by a family at a church who took us into their home. On top of that, it was also pouring rain our first day which is why I decided to leave the violin.
After our initial troubles, we are now up to 35+ miles per day. We actually did 65 miles today. Fiji is getting acclimated to the lifestyle. She runs about 10 miles each day. Today was hot, so she had to take a dip in the river.
We are in Maryland, having traveled about 200 miles from NYC. The trail we're on is gorgeous.
We will be in Cumberland, MD in two or three days. I would love to connect with some fiddlers!

I am in Cumberland, MD. Does want one live near here? Want to get together and play? I am going to set up a stand to raise money for the foundation I'm biking for. It would be nice to be fiddling as well!

LOL Pierre.Jasmine, it's great that you want to play jazz, but please don't leave out the classical. You do it such justice!!!
Happy dreaming regarding your trip. I too am looking forward to it.
One thing I have found about learning classical music is that the more proficient at it I become the easier everything else seems to become. Don;t know if that's true for everybody but it has been my experience.
