Honorary advisor

Hello. I just got back into practicing and performing on the violin again after not having been able to play for most of the summer due to bad shoulder pain. My doctor thinks it's an injured rotator cuff in my left shoulder. The pain started back in June after I was moving some furniture around. The pain was bad enough where it was hard to life my left arm over my head and very hard to hold much less play the violin. Not only did this disrupt my practice but also disrupted my playing with the orchestra that I belong to. Finally the pain and discomfort and stiffness has subsided and it feels good to be able to play the violin again. I am back to attending my orchestra rehearsals and back to practicing at home as well. Tonight I was able to do one of my longest practice sessions in months. It's great to be back again.
