I have moved to sell most of my fiddles so that I can buy a German Bowl-Back Mandolin.
I have an "A" Type Mandolin (NOVA MA-100), sunburst pattern that can be seen in the picture.
The Red and White instrument is a Squier Mini Electric Guitar (22 3/4" Scale length) that Tunes C, G, D, A in the same octave as a Cello and may be described as a MandoCello.
These instruments take all the practice time I can manage and fortunately since they are both tuned in fifths, once I learn a tune on one the fingering works equally well on the other.
When the Bowl-back mandolin arrives I will post her picture.
Let me echo Kinda Scratchy thanks to Pierre for allow we musician friends to hangout here.
