He was beyond thrilled that he could have his 96 year old great great aunt Marian, cousins Carole and Sage at his concert last night. This was special in so many ways because it may have been both his premier as solo concertmaster for the prelude orchestra and his finale as the concertmaster
because he is hoping in a month to be selected as either the concertmaster or assistant concertmaster for the philharmonic, which consists of high schoolers. If he is, he will no longer be in the prelude orchestra.
