One excited little boy this morning
we woke up to this first thing and boy, his day of practicing just got more fun.

Well, well well....Just go this email(I will copy and paste below)from the Young Stars of Maine competition, which is actually 2 competitions in one. the Glenn Jenks Prize competition and the Elsie Bixler competition in Rockport, Maine. Thomas has advanced to the finals round on May 7. He has one more competition in May at Orono but these two we were gritting our teeth because Thomas is the youngest of all the contestants and the age range was from 12-25 on both. For him to advance, amond the adult compeititors, is something else.....
 
"Dear Thomas,
Congratulations! You have successfully passed the first and second round of these competitions and we are happy to invite you to audition before a panel of judges for our 2023 Young Stars of Maine Prize competition in the finals. Your audition reflects an obvious love of music, your obvious talent and a great deal of thoughtful preparation.
Your audition is Sunday, May 7 at 2:30PM, at Bay Chamber Music School, in the Shepherd Building at 18 Central Street, Rockport, Maine. Please come to the top floor – there is an elevator in the building. Plan to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time. You will have 15 minutes of warm-up time in a music studio before your audition.
You have indicated that you will audition with the following repertoire:
Czardas (Monti)
Arioso (Bach)

Jim(Thomases Dad)
