THomas got this email and he hasn't come back down from cloud 9 yet. He has worked wicked hard and it has paid off. 

 

Hello Thomas,

 
I am writing regarding your ensemble placement for BSYO. The judges would like to invite you to play in the philharmonic, with the condition that you also play in the prelude string ensemble as concertmaster to continue to improve your skills as a leader.
 
We understand that this would be a large time commitment. If you are agreeable to playing in both ensembles, we would of course be flexible with your attendance. Please let me know what you think.
