Currently working on getting badges to show up horizontally. Should hopefully figure that out within a week. Thanks for your patience.

I have a concert this week with UCDSO, and like every UCDSO concert since 2015, it will be live-streamed on YouTube.
We have another really interesting program. We start with "Three Pieces from the Pandemic" by UC Davis grad student Joe Peterson, the winner of the university's annual student composition contest. Next is the world premiere of a violin concerto by Chilean composer Miguel Farías, titled "Kuyén." The concerto is inspired by Mapuche mythology; Kuyén is the Mapuche moon goddess. Finally, we close out the program with Antonín Dvořák's 8th Symphony.
Concert is Saturday, March 5, at 7 pm Pacific time. The stream will also be available for viewing after the concert.

Thanx, I'll make sure I watch!

@AndrewH -
What was YOUR take on this Concert, as a whole?
I had some trouble relating to some of the performance, but I still enjoyed it and appreciate you shared this here. It made me aware of the Mapuche people's struggle - read about them & listened to some of their music.
Thank you!
What's next on your agenda?
