All of the beautiful, 'popular' Finnish music I'm finding are Sad Love Songs!

Is there a special category for sad Finnish love song music?
Here's a wonderful example, Satojen Merien Näkijä by Johanna Kurkela - with Finnish and English lyrics. This is a tune from the Finnish Song Lyrics Playlist of Ongaku Translations.
Have you heard of "Rajaton"?
They are a Finnish a capella group from Helsinki. They sing a wonderful Celtic tune, "Dobbin's Flowery Vale" that I just discovered.
...seems sad, melancholy music is beautiful everywhere!

Oh dear, I LOVE Johanna Kurkela’s songs!! ❤️❤️ They are all somehow so sad but beautiful. And all the best are on that Youtube channel with English translation! And there is Indica too, she is also one of my favourites! Have you already listened to them all, @ELCBK? 😊 I have to watch these because I’m curious about some translations. I think some of the lyrics are really tricky to translate, I want to see how it is done.
And yes, Rajaton is great! I especially like their Christmas songs.
I really don’t know why we have so many this type sad love songs, maybe it’s just this Finnish mentality…

I shouldn't have posted "Dobbin's Flowery Vale" here (deleted), because it's an Irish tune, but I'll check out more of Rajton - thank you for telling me about the Christmas music!
I've only listened to some of the other tunes at Ongaku, so far.
There's sad, melancholy music all over the world - what better way to express all that emotion than with music? That's why 'we' (in the US) have "the Blues" and "Country" music. (lol)
I'm fascinated with similar French music right now - think you'd find it beautiful, also. 😊 Take a look, if you ever have time to sit down and relax. (lol)
