Just had to share this. I was practicing upstairs tonight when all of a sudden the house shook and I heard a rumbling sound. I thought it was something my husband did, so I yelled down, "What are you doing down there?" He yelled back, "I thought you were stomping your feet to the music!"

Turns out there was a 4.6 earthquake centered near Portland, Maine that was felt throughout New England!

So you played and people felt the Earth move under their feet.  Lots of people.  I'd say it sounds like you're doing good!

thumbs-up

Apparently I hit a note just right and matched the resonant frequency of the Earth, causing a tectonic plate to shift.

Earthquakes are definitely rarer here than on the left coast and not as severe, but this is the third one that I've felt in the past 10-15 years. Plus, there were a couple of others that I heard about but didn't feel.
