I am so confused! In November we got blasted on the one day in November we had an appointment we could not change, and I had to drive home. I about had a heart attack. My knuckles were so sore when I got us home. Then the next day, it was gone.

December was doing pretty good, but, then right before Christmas, we got blasted again. The roads were clear for my daughter and son-in-law to drive up, but then it snoqed and messed it all up pretty bad again.

January, we mostly got rain. Luckily, it did not freeze. We had, again, one appt we could not change, it snowed a lot overnight. Luckily, my husband backed the car into the garage the night before. The plow hadn’t gone down the road yet, so there was not that buildup at the end, like there was in November. Unluckily, the plow had not been down the country roads yet, they were NOT plowed! That was a harrowing drive (ride, on my part).

It has been pretty good since, rain and not snow, but I couldn’t take advantage, due to my knee. Knee on the mend, but still don’t drive, but, geeze! We are now getting Winter weather! We should be on the exiting portion of Winter. No, apparently not. We have snow coming the next two days, a couple feet, actually started last night, followed by freezing rain, followed by 1-2 days of rain, followed by snow (which means rain that is still lingering on sidewalks and driveways will freeze as temps drop to snow temps). This should have happened in January.

My question is, which one of you dropped the calendar? I hope we don’t get a repeat of snow in May, has happened quite a few times. Darn lakes and their lake affect. 😂

They call me, “Mellow Cello”
