Just sharing some info
Free alternative to Adobe for pdf files: PDF24
Adobe has become increasingly slow & limited without subscription (e.g., I can no longer use it to scan a doc from my printer into PC as a .pdf, and can only convert 1 Word Document a month to a .pdf, etc.,).
This PDF24 is free, and can do all the things I want it to do (file conversion, edits, scan from printer, etc.,) that used to be easy but no longer work with free Adobe (or the old purchased Adobe Standard software--but that is another story).
I’ve downloaded the PDF24 to my PC, and have been using it for a month now, and I’m really pleased with it. I’ve made it my default for .pdf files now.
They also have functions available to use online, so you don’t even have to download it.

Real pity it doesnt work on android, difficult to get a pdf prog for it and this one looks excellent.
I dont use windows at all anymore, for vids on here for instance I just record onto my tablet and upload it straight off, except for my tik tok account that is and for that I have a free vid program which lets me put captions on.
The only real problem I have as I said above is pdf readers bit crazy.
Cant beat a sunny day

I’m not sure what works well on the Android. I (briefly) tried WPS Office for Android.
I was familiar with the PC Windows version that I used years ago that worked well for MS Office stuff (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), & it was completely free then.
What is good about it now is that in addition to having MS Office compatible stuff, it has pdf support as well. So I decided to give it a try.
On the Android, as a reader, it seemed to work well. But when I tried to convert a doc file to a pdf (and it did it, no problem), I got the ads/annoying pop-ups to buy their upgraded paid version, so I just uninstalled it. I do all of that stuff on my PC anyway. Might be okay, though, depending on how you’re using it.
