The forecast for this entire week is right out of the the calendar for late December and January! And, of course, so far this forecast, it is correct. Last week was late November to early to mid December.

What happened to Spring, Summer and Fall?

Geeze, Louise, make it STOP!

You were the one who felt that even country information was too personal to go on our profiles, right?

I know, but we are all wondering what the location is! The weather has been lovely here in London. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/3345438

@Gordon Shumway In NY.

Nice weather. Your C weather is about my F weather.

I have always been interested in London. I don't look it up or anything, but it has interested me.

I just finished a book where the characters lived in London. I like the different way things are referred to, Interesting. Funny how "English" can be different in different places. US English and British English, It is fascinating to me.

When I was in school I had a pen pal from Surrey. I think that was the address location. It was interesting. I still remember her name, but not posting it here.

Yeah, NY (city) is strange. It's on the same latitude as Italy, but can have the same climate as Iceland.

Even within NY is weird. NYC weather is different from my central NY. Then about an hour north from me, it is different, west is different. Straight up north of NYC gets you into mountains, and that is not good for non-winter loving people.

Lake Erie, Lake Ontario and the Finger Lakes all play a part where I am. We never know. Beautiful area, but unpredictable weather.

We had a guy in Kerhonkson on our uke forum.

London escaped polar weather this winter, but it's always a possibility.

I am about 90 minutes east of Rochester, which I think is close to Kerhonkson. I remember hearing that place mentioned a long time ago. Since it was a long time ago, I could be wrong about the location. I am connecting it to Rochester, for some reason. I cannot remember why I heard about it, never heard it mentioned since.

We used to go to a violin shop out that way. The shop moved to right into Rochester, and has new owners now, We don't go anymore.

Keep going beyond Rochester and you will be at Niagara Falls. We don't go there anymore, either. Been there, done that, too many times, 😁. That has a really neat history. I would have loved to have seen it before they messed with it. When it had all the water flowing. But, then the houses and towns that popped up would be wiped out! It is just a fraction of that water now that goes over the falls, and that is still a lot. I saw a picture of Niagara Falls last week. It still had ice.

We had a lot of glaciers in our area and it really left some interesting spots, especially where I am. Gorges, lakes, drumlins.

The world has shrunk with the internet. I wish some other part of the world would take this winter weather out of here.
