Hi All
I just wanted to say sorry to anyone that I may have offended with the post that I made in reply to Composer. However, I 'did' mean everything that I said.
I feel that, as a rule, I'm a layed back person but I had had a rather bad day and Composer popped his head up and took a shot at me and other valued members of the forum at the wrong time.
So, sorry to anyone that I did offend.

"Composer" deserves anything that any of you have to say against him for his rude comments and behavior. If he writes me an email with an apology I will let him post again, though I seriously doubt that he would ever do that.

What gets me about composer is his blatant insults to Fiddlerman.
From just a practical perspective, why insult the primary person responsible for this site's existence? This site is an excellent resource for budding violinists. If it's not to someone's tastes, they're free to go elsewhere. Fiddlerman provides this resource free of charge and composer comes in and openly trash-talks him?
I've never personally met Fiddlerman, but I've seen his vids, listened to him play, and I am impressed with his skills. So whatever Fiddlerman's experience in orchestras is, it far surpasses anything I will ever achieve. So I am very grateful that he takes time out of his day to talk to us, pass on his knowledge and wisdom and be genuinely friendly in an unfriendly world.
Composer can go suck it.

So many times Composer was given the benefit of a doubt but it always seemed to me that he merely came here to cause a disruption. After awhile I never read anything he had to write.
As for Ferret offending anyone, that is the Aussie way. I have many friends in Australia and they all say what they will but it is never meant to offend and it is never taken as such. But hey that's what you get when everyone is a descendend of a criminal.

In Australia, being descended from a convict is a status symbol, so you foreigners can rub it in as much you can, we like it.
The creme de la creme are those who can trace their forebears to the First Fleet.

As you well know Ferret, those Septic Tanks will take offence at anything. And mostly they don't understand the humour spelled with a 'u', so they take offence. We have to be careful.
Most of my forebears were here before the First Fleet, or convicts, so I couldn't shoot a rifle if I tried. But give me a nulla nulla, woomera, boomerang, or a spear ... and I'd be just as buggered ... No wonder I'm a vegetarian.
If you set out to offend someone, most people will recognise that. But if you do it through miscommunication or a genuine misunderstanding, most of us will also recognise that.
If you think you can, or you think you can't, you're probably right.

Much appricated. Being a big burly Aussie bloke, I don't often wear my heart on my sleeve. But this guy was just so abusive to some people that, even though I have never actually met them, I hold in high regard. Not once, not twice, but many a time.

@Ferret I've followed you here for a long time now and have the utmost respect for you! I'm sure whatever you said to composer was deserved by him and appreciated by the rest of us!
