Today was a wonderful day.  We went into town to the movie theater.  They were playing It's a Wonderful Life.  The admission was free as was the popcorn and soda. When the theater filled up the owner made the anouncement, if you need more seats so you can sit with friends they are showing it in the smaller room next door.  He also anounced, the showing next door was from a DVD and had none of the scratches or sounds of the projector.  Only two people got up and moved. We went there to see an old wonderfull movie in an old theater and shown from film.  The whole audience laughed at the funny parts and at the end was a standing applause.

That's a great story, Kevin. That's similar to why I don't like "colorized" movies. The sepia tone, scratchiness, flickering, etc. are part of the nostalgic experience.

Cool.
It is a wonderful life for many of us most of the time. smile
We just need to take the time to soak up the good in it and not the bad.
