I have an Earth Cam app. One of the cams is Manatee Lagoon Cam in West Palm Beach FL. They have a above one and underwater one. The manatees are not there all year. They are currently there. Cool. Theh are so calm and gentle slowing moving around.

When the manatees are not there, the underwater one lets you see the underwater life all year. It is interesting.

Anyway, I love it when the manatees are back.

I live in central Florida. Manatees are very common in the waters here, especially in the winter. They come to the warm springs to get away from the cold winter water. Manatees are protected by law from harassment, any human activity that alters their behavior. But sometimes it’s tough to get away from them because they are curious and they do seem to like people. Manatees are gentle but they are enormous -- scary big when you’re close to them.

Don't play the banjo to them.

Yep, manatees are beautiful. They are gone now, from that spot the Earth Cam is located, anyway. They have been gone for a couple weeks.

Now I watch the underwater Manatee Cam. They have a cam above and below water at that location. I watch the different fishies. I have seen sharks there. They seem to be just swimming with the other fish. Must not be hungry. Not sure what kind they are. Not Great Whites, from what I can tell. Not big enough. It is interesting.

They need an Earth Cam in Oswego NY to watch all the storms come across Lake Ontario. It would have to be looking theough a window. It would not survive the weathet. Lens would always be rained, snowed or iced over, 😁.
