@stringy I looked into making Turkish (aka Greek) coffee, but one of the problems is you need a very fine grind (much finer than even espresso) so you need a specialist grinder to make it (and they're expensive) so I gave up on the idea.

As I said before the forum died, ALWAYS buy Turkish/Greek coffee pre-packed from a Mediterranean deli. 

Charalambous is the best. Bravo is cheap and the best-known brand, but it's nowhere near as good. There are various tricks involved in making it - ask me if interested.

Since those high quality grinders are expensive, which they really are, you can look at high quality hand grinders that can easily grind so fine that it'll stop the flow of even an expensive Italian Espresso machine with a rotary pump.

My favorite hand grinder brand is the Zassenhaus brand.
