@Katie L -

Pepper is lovely!  So happy you found another kitty.

Hope she likes listening to your violin!

We're still on our 2nd pair of black & white kitties (easier to see them), but before that we had a beautiful tortie, 'Zena'.

Just had a shock when 'the boys' went in for teeth cleaning in January - after inspection/xrays, etc... they BOTH had to have their upper canines pulled!!!  I had only expected the loss of maybe a small incisor or premolar!  Very weird not seeing my kitties' big fangs!

What else is new?

We had 5 deer in our backyard this week!

A tortie! Beautiful. If she's anything like our neighbors torti cat that seems to spend most of her time over at our place you're going to have loads of fun! laugh

Not fond of deer in the yard. My daughter lives where there are a lot. One ate a plant from my son's service she had set out to get sun. They eat her plants and flowers that she and her husband do every year, perennials and annuals, but deer kill them. Even the supposed deer resistant. Their lawn, front and back, looks like a professional peaceful park. So lovely. But the deer destroy it. They are high in lime disease area because of it.

Yes, they have done everything they can, in their area, to keep them out. They do not live in the country, either. Let's not change the topic theme by how to's to keep deer, out, 😂.

We get too many deer, here, too. They are pretty, and the fawns are so darn cute, especially when with their mama, but not a fan of having them around. I won't plant a garden. The rabbits are enough to contend with.

I do enjoy them when I see them back in the fields out back, but not in my yard. Like the pretty foxes, out back in the fields, not a fan of them walking across my, or my neighbor's yard. They are cute and graceful, too.

My daughter's cats stay in her house. Pretty elusive when visitors come. If I did not see photos and vids, I would not think she had two sisters, rescues. Cute little girls.

These two girls replaced to other sisters that passed away a couple years apart. She and her husband are so good with them.

Congrats, KatyL. Your kitty is so lovely. My mother had two brothers, Maine Coons, one was named Pepper.
