LOL!  We've reached almost mid November, and not a sign of anything here yet!  It's not unusual to get a light dusting, say last week October and onwards - but nothing so far this year - in fact it's been remarkably mild - not exactly T-shirt weather - but not far off!

Mind you, the Gulf Stream always influences our ( NW Scotland ) local climate... not to mention the vagaries of the jet-stream which seems to duck-and-dive uncontrollably across the UK over the years....

Snow!!!!  ENJOY IT !!! ( well, so long as it's not like 6-foot deep - that's not fun! )

Old joke :  What's the difference between snowmen and snow-women ?   I refrain from posting the answer...

We're seeing some snow here in western NY state today.  Just a dusting, so far.  A little "powdered sugar" on the world.  Just enough to make it a good day for cocoa and maybe a batch of cookies, not "Ack!  Have to shovel the driveway!!"

so far..

Here in N.California.. we have a nice little sprinkling of rain.   It is lovely... and cleaning off the red, gold, yellow and still green leaves.   The fall trees look lovely with the darker sky a nice and dramatic effect.  I wanted to just drive around and look at natures decorated trees today. :)

I live about a 100 miles north of Toni and it rains just enough to make me have to wash my truck again tomorrow. facepalm

I have to leave in a bit for work. Its going to be fun practicing today at the rest stop. lol .  My hummingbirds were all yelling at me through the window this morning too. Their feeder was empty and had slush in it.

"Hey!! You in there!! I know you see us out here! How about you throw us a little nectar?? We're starving to death. Don't make us have to come in there. It won't be pretty".  ostrich-chase

So, now I have to go see my therapist. The hummingbirds will be the death of me. I just can't take the stress!!!   fainting-1344
