Ok, so many things here and on a machine knitting forum, that are so completely over my head. I keep looking for an emoji that shows someone motioning that with the hand and head. I really would use that a lot.
The exploding head does not really say that to me, 🤯. That shows more of disagreement to me. 🥴 shows confusion and frustration, not really, "way over my head". Why no, "That is way over my head" emoji? 😂

The stars circling overhead is great.
Britannica says the 'mind blown' emoji is used to express astonishment - but 'astonishment' (to me) is just BIG OPEN EYES.
I always thought the exploding head was: "blew my mind (up)", but more like "it's just too much for me & my brain exploded", or "my brain fried".
gif's come in handy. 'Brain boiling' (to me) is just "too much work for my brain to handle". My favorite:

Not sure what the problem is with machine knitting.
If you are interested, I met a woman once (in 1981) who had been to Africa in the 50s or 60s and she saw a man who had made a knitting machine out of a couple of pieces of wood and some nails. Maybe you could have a go at that!

I don't have a problem with knitting machines, I have three, standard, midgauge and bulky. Actually have been able to make some sweaters that fit.
But to get way off topic of my original post, now they are making circular sock knitting machines out of 3D printers. They do not look like they would be s secure on the table even with the plastic clamps, as a heavy metal one.
