Do they stay fuzzy, or just when they are first uploaded (processing on their end can make them fuzzy at first). Are you using the app or the website? I haven’t uploaded through the website in a while, but it used to have a quality selection, don’t see that in the app, I think it just uploads best possible. Next think would be what are you camera settings? (Settings, camera, record video settings). In there it lists low to high, with a check by the current selection.

i was gonna say something about the processing that goes on with youtube as @damfino said. alot of times it takes a bit for it to finish.
As @JohnG said lighting is one of the biggest things to help. you can get some pretty drastic differences in quality just with that. 1080 at 24 or 30 frames should be good enough. really think john hit on the main thing with lighting. landscape orientation is easier to watch in my opinion.
something like this is an example. or just a small desk lamp with shade off even.

Hi Katie,
Just watched your video and I have one more suggestion.
Turn your iPhone sideways so you're in landscape instead of straight up and down. We can hear the music and see your violin, but we can't see your pretty face.
Looking and sounding great!

Thank you grandpafiddle I’m so rubbish at recording ! I definitely need to make it better for those watching and when I look back … trying to work on the quality and camera angle ! I’m going to get a stand ! So watch this space , you may see more than the ceiling and an occasional bow hand coming in !
