As someone who has served, I salute you this veterans day. Thank you for your service. If you have lost someone or know someone who has passed while serving their country, thank you for your sacrifice. Please take a moment to thank a veteran this weekend.

Veterans- there are all kinds of deals out there for yall this weekend. Outback steakhouse, applebees, subway, etc...Please take advantage of these generous acts of corporate kindness.

Being rejected from joining the U.S. Marine Corp. in 1966, due to being married and having a 3 yr old son, I was told to go home and take care of my family. I commend and respect anyone who has served in the military.

My Son- in-law and grandaughter are serving now (as we speak) in Afghanastan. They are due to be home sometime in January 2013.

 

God Bless those who have served or sacrificed for the freedom of all people.
