How was everyone's Christmas?  Were you a good little boy or girl?  We had a lovely Christmas.  Our tradition is to take our elderly neighbor to her church's Candlelight Service.  I must have been a good boy this year.  Santa brought me a new sublimation printer, sublimation ink.. and a Kun Seven Shoulder rest!  I'm excited to play around with it to get it set just right!  Best of all, it even fits in my case!

Happy New Year!!!

It has been more than 30 years since there was anything I wanted to receive for Christmas. My mother and I had got into the habit of transferring money into each other's bank accounts, so we stopped that. In the autumn I sent her a bunch of thermal underwear through Amazon. That makes more sense than waiting until Cristmas. The only present I received this year was a black pullover for my concert, and the only present I bought (so far) was 100cc of EDP (my mother probably needs a new freeview box. I'll verify that in a week's time and send her one). I miss having a Christmas stocking - nowadays I could use a pocket diary and a set of violin strings each year!

We are the same way. Gordon Shumway. Anything we need or want, we get during the year as the need or desire arises. The kiddos are finally getting the idea that if they ask what we want, there is nothing.

Token presents are probably the way to go. During the year my other half buys discount boxes of chocolates and bottles of good wine and other stuff, then everyone she knows gets a little something, even her dentist and her doctor.
