Last week I was playing at this heavily guarded luncheon with a bunch of women and I thought it was really strange that everyone was wearing a hat. I thought to myself, "Is it the new thing to wear hats amongst the wealthy?"

The answer came when a friend sent me this link. Nice hats?

Haha! Some of those hats were actually really cool. Shame about the lack of Fiddlerman ball caps, though... rofl

And then there's the ladies' hat scene at the Kentucky Derby. I watch it more for the hats than the horse race.

Oh come on, Pierre, admit it...the real reason you started this thread was so that we'd see your picture in the photo gallery!

Looks like it was a nice event, though. I've been to Vizcaya a few times...it's a beautiful estate.

Wow... would love to have a "hat face and body." So cool... but only the Red/Purple Hats get away with it here that I know of.

So funny how things catch on after the Royal Wedding... of course there was a bunch of mocking at first... but a good hat is undeniably beautiful...and a good thing caught on...

Awh take me to a time of hats, gloves... without all the bad stuff.. lol
