Thank you,

these party's have helped me to not be so lazy about recording myself, it's a great tool to help your playing by listening and watching for issues as you play.

Thanks,

Mark

Yes, I agree, I feel the same way.  Would encourage all you folks in the Forum-verse (there are so many of you!) to join us in these parties!  Great learning tool!

I edited my original post of my tune, adding a version with some reverb:

@SharonC - Version 2, at first I thought a little too much reverb, but the effect grew on me and loved it at the end. Almost the feeling of playing in a cathedral or rocky gorge. Now you need to get a green screen and you can add a background to go with the music!

Oh, and I didn't say it before, but I love the tune, too!

I think it adds something @SharonC . I like it.  but its great without it too.  of the 2 i favor the one with some reverb.  i listened on my phone.  i want to try tommorow with earbuds in and see how it sounds.

@SharonC -

Really liked the reverb, just not for that particular tune - made it a little too angelic for a Viking tune. (lol)

So, LOVED your 1st video more - perfect!

@SharonC,

Well I have a problem, as I like both, humm, I believe that I favor the one with reverb just a touch more.

How ever both are good.

Thanks for posting this comparison.

Great job @Mark.

@SharonC - Loved your performance and mix. Glad to see you working on this as well. It can be a lot of fun and rewarding to play ensemble with yourself. 😁

Thanks, Fiddlerman!

All,

I think I like the reverb, too, but I think I'd prefer it down a notch.  Just playing with the new features in the software.  It does come across differently on each of my tech devices, e.g., my "drum" is very prominent on my PC speakers (I have a subwoofer), whereas not so much on the others devices.  Thanks for the feedback smile
