@Fiddlerman -
Well Pierre, I'm late and don't think this is the kind of testimony that you deserved for your Birthday Party - especially for all the great tutorials you make for us. 🤣
Been pretty nasty this last week, but got a weather break today - maybe you'll appreciate my attempt to 'Fool with Mother Nature', in this Party offering? 😁

Btw, I'm happy where I'm at... all because of what you do here.
Thank You!
...my bow was no match for 'Mother Nature'. 😖

If you watch my video in the HD setting, there's a small boat (well, it's larger than we could ever afford) that runs by behind me. This view is actually overlooking the 'Anchor Bay' part of Lake Saint Clair.
A few minutes away, on the South side of the point at the Metro Park, it's a better view of the greater part of the lake - too far away to see across to Canada from there, but can usually see the huge Lake Freighters off in the distance.
Lake Saint Clair is part of the 'Great Lakes Waterway'.
An amazing diverse amount of large vessels sail the Great Lakes. If anyone is interested, here's a list of the current fleet on the Great Lakes and access to more info from 'Ship Watcher News'.
Wikipedia has a nice overview of Great Lakes Freighters.
We get the best 'up close' views of these impressive ships just a little further North, anywhere along the Saint Clair River, which comes down from Lake Huron. Also, the Detroit River runs south from Lake Saint Clair to Lake Erie.
