heres an old time tune from Owen Chapman. Kinda a different feel playing in such an open area..the sound I hear isnt quiet the same as when inside. not getting reflections from walls or something...plus kept waiting for the feral cats to attack from the woods.. had to stay alert.

Awesome!
Really enjoyed listening to you play!
You have mastered not only your fiddle,
but this whole recording thing!
Sooo impressed I don't hear any wind blowing...
dogs barking... engines revving... tree branches rustling...
neighbors slamming doors... babies crying... kids yelling...
leaf blowers burring... weed wackers whirring...
bees buzzing... or phones ringing!
I'm alright...
nobody worry 'bout me
...but the Groundhog got et. 😖 (oops, maybe gopher?)

ANYONE want to start a Party that doesn't have a Party Badge?
...I would join a Critter-got-et Party or even just a Critter Party, maybe after Easter?
Btw, "both ate and et are proper" past tense forms of "to eat"! 😵 (uk.answers.yahoo.com)

Very nicely done, Greg!
I like playing outdoors, weather permitting. It's definitely a different experience. I did a lot of outdoor playing last spring and summer, just to get out of the apartment, and I even have a favorite spot by the American River for it. I might head out there this weekend, as we should finally get a bit of warm weather.

🥺 Awful sad...
I have truly enjoyed your cute little kitty showing up in your videos.
Couldn't you have found something else to help keep the noise down?

I actually looked at suggestions for a "deadcat" after you mentioned it, but I'm now giving this a MUCH more humane name... but only just for smartphones. 😁
Smartphones only have tiny mics, usually at both ends - they don't need much.
"Fur Tuft"!
I suppose they could be called a more fanciful name like "Fairy Tuffet", if trimmed a bit - but they really look more like something meant for Fly Fishing, maybe a fuzzy bug name? ..."Bugsy"! (lol)
You can actually buy a pkg - several of the tiny double-stick adhesive rings, along with the tiny faux "Fur Tufts" to attach over each smartphone mic. (amazon)
Not a problem to DIY, just modify craft adhesive dots.
...getting an uneasy visual of my phone looking like a science experiment - one left somewhere dark with old food, to see how many fuzzy fungi will flourish at each end 🤢 or I can see my cats will probably pull them off as soon as they see them. 🤣
Thanx for all the mic help!
Has someone been trying to harvest "Fur Tufts"?
...hope no one reading my joking ever tries to harm a cat - plenty of hair falls out naturally!
Btw Greg, couldn't figure why the DIY video you suggested covers the whole end of the phone, camera lenses, screen and all! 🤔🥴
