Ok, here is Brahms Lullaby from Fiddlerman's sheet music played on my violin.

@stringy I will look for a slow song, that is ore sad or lamenting. This is a lullaby, not really lamenting, but I could play it. I wanted to get your party going. Might be a little while, I have to find that slow "lamenting" song I used to play.

I encourage all guests to sign on as a member and join this wonderful party.

@stringy I really like your Niels Gow’s lament—you play it well.  And this is an excellent party idea smile

@Mouse Tried to listen to your 1st version of Brahms on the viola—file gone now.  But your version on the violin sounds great! smile

@SharonC Fixed it. I accidentally loaded the viola one again when I added my second, violin version. I edited the violin version and deleted the viola one from that one and added the violin. Oddly enough, it apparently deleted the viola from the first post of the viola version. All good now.

Thanks all for taking a look, I am looking forward to hearing what everyone comes up with, anything with a sad theme, Even things like streets of laredo, or green green grass of home, thousands of them out there. I even thought of doing I ride an old paint, great tunes some of the old cowboy ones.

Great idea of a party! I like the slower, saddish tunes. There must be plenty of songs that fit, I'll be glad to discover new ones.

Thanks stringy & Mouse, it was nice hearing you.

I'll participate in this one, for sure. As audio probably.

This is called a march and i guess its like alot of these it can be played different ways.   Im partial to the gloamings version of it so i feel its a more sad or lament type way of playing.  If nothing else a lonesome sound.
