That's PERFECT for today, thanx Greg!
Really super nice!
Yep, we must be on the same wavelength - in different threads, but you obviously knew about this tune (I didn't)!
Geez, I'm envious! It only got up to 50°F here, today - not exactly your short-sleeve weather, but only 3 days left of Winter!
maybe it's time for us to take Xmas lights down.

thanks @elcbk and everyone for watching the other two as well!
Emily its been nice lately ever since the ice/snow storm a few weeks back. supposed to be a rough night with storms though... caught a break in between to record. I think I repeated the A part one to many but oh well..I wanted to play this one with guitar and post today but things got in the way...
did you watch the Sam Sweeny version in the other thread?

Great tune!
Love how you sting those notes!
Amazing difference - just because of room size or mic position?
I always enjoy listening, cause you kick the Party up a notch!
Thank you for sharing both!
...pesky wabbits all gone in a couple days. 😏

Thanks @Mark and @elcbk
emily mic position pretty much same along with distance. a little higher cealing in 2nd one wood floor instead carpet and room longer not square. whats weird is how the earlier outside vid is closer to 1st vid here. no point to any of it...just different settings to amuse myself... think the 1st room picked up bow noise more...the echo in 2nd seems to cancel out some..maybe..idk. probably just how i played.
EDIT*****
great version by Tom Morley
Another one thats very nice is by George Penk on the portland selection album vol 1

Was skimming thru & realized I missed your edited post.
Thank you for posting Tom Morley's "Father Kelly's".
Was wondering why it sounded so great... 5 string AE Fiddle there!
And, gitt'n down on that C string!
...guess I haven't convinced ANYONE how fabulous they are, yet - if only I could record mine, better. (lol)
Even Darol Anger plays one (hint, hint).
