Played classical on my cello for two years of lessons.

Wondering whether the set up should be changed for folk, Irish and Scottish music.

What strings would brighten the tone?

Considering a Coda bow Luma.  Anyone try one for folk cello?m

What strings are you using now?
I believe D'addario Helicore strings are used to brighten the cello.
