@Mouse , @Ilona , all cellists -

Just found some great stuff!

Daniel Hawkins has compiled an amazing Folk Archive site!

Dani Hawkins - Folk Cello Archive

...and a YouTube Channel with MANY GREAT videos to help with learning tunes and with general practicing!

The video tutorials on his YouTube Channel vary from basics to more advanced, Folk to Classical.  And, I'm REALLY impressed that he has some 20 minute practice-along videos, as well as some geared to help with ear-training!

💖 This video is 3 exercises in one!  For wandering attention, long notes on the G string and for practicing "Bach Suite 1 Courante"

💖 This video by Daniel, "Have You Been To Ireland" by Greg Boardman - 20 minutes of slow playing to practice with - great to try to learn by ear.

MORE great videos found at Daniel's YouTube Channel!

Daniel Hawkins Video Tutorials

Here's the sheet music for "Have You Been To Ireland":

Hey, @ELCBK, I will be back to this post later. It looks great! It will be good to get back to my Michael G. He sounds so much better than Kenny G, even when I play!

I did get to make Michael G sing a little yesterday. Much needed playing time.

Thanks for this info and links.
