Most of you know I am always on the lookout for a good deal on a cello.
Well, I was looking in eBay, just for kicks. There was a cello advertised for $ .99. Yes, you are reading correctly. It says, 99 cents.
I looked again. 99 cents for the cello, $499 or something like that for the shipping! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I purposely did not provide the link. I was not going to give this seller the direct advertising link.

It's an old fleabay scam. The seller is trying to avoid paying legit fees based on the sale price because fleabay didn't used to consider inflated shipping costs as part of the sale.
It doesn't work like that but some people didn't get the memo.
For those shopping on budget for musical instrument Christmas gifts, try Goodwill online. If you know what you're looking for, you can avoid the junk no one wants.

That is pretty interesting, RDP. I am actually going to order a Fiddlershop cello. I have to contact them Monday. My electric is just not cutting it. I get a chuckle when I look at them on eBay. They are so exaggerated on eBay. I would never buy one on eBay. Unless I buy from Fiddlershop, I want to see it first. But, it was funny to see that. Thanks for the explanation.
