Spent a bit of time learning about Jami Sieber's music today, so sharing a little. 

Wonderful layers of cello, she makes great use of the fabulous pitch range, textures & harmonics possible, in her music. 

Here's a few tracks (I LOVE) from several of her CDs.  I've linked the CD Titles to info & samples of the rest of the tracks... she's recorded more CDs.  

 

"Jewels in Indra's Web" - from Jami's "Timeless" CD. 

There's some background sound she uses at the beginning (probably frogs chirping) - I swear it sounds EXACTLY like my Madmartigan's purr!!! 

 

"Benediction" - from Jami's "Unspoken: The Music Of Only Breath" CD. 

LOVE the addition of Steve Gorn's Bansuri Flute! 

 

"Undercurrent" - from Jami's solo debut CD, "Lush Mechanique".
